Dragonheart I loved that movie when I saw it in the theater! QUOTE Character 1: Now, before letting you in, I shall ask you customary three questions. Character 2: Okay, shoot. Character 1: First, shall I serve coffee or tea? Character 3: I would think in England it's customary to serve tea. Character 2: Tea! Character 1: Correct. Next question, Milk or Lemon? Character 2: Well that would depend on the tea now, wouldn't it? Character 1: Correct! Now finally, last question. In which year did a Harvard honor student defeat an Oxford student at Henley? Character 2: Surely such a travesty has never occured. Character 1: Indeed! Your heart is true... you may pass.

Proud Member of the I.S.D. QUOTE “Hey Harry!” said Cedric, strolling up to him. “Did you hear those screams? I almost died!... Is that David Bowie?” “Never mind that, look!” the American exchange student exclaimed. “I found the Triwizard cup! It’s mine! All mine! I’ll finally get the fame and glory and honor I deserve!” “Stupefy,” said Harry. The American exchange student dropped to the ground, stunned. “Woah!” Cedric exclaimed in astonishment. “You can do magic?!” “Come on, Cedric,” Harry sighed. “We’d better take this together. You know, so Draco Malfoy won’t think I’m selfish. I really want to get with him, you know.” -- Silver Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Omelette of Desire Rabbits Have Rights!

Superman! Returns, that is.
um.. now I have to think of a quote... dang.
ok, one from my dad's favorite movie:
"Aristotle was not Belgian. The central message of Buddhism is not 'every man for himself.' And the London Underground is not a political movement. Those are all mistakes, Otto. I looked them up."

"A Fish Called Wanda" - funny movie!!! And now, for something to help get us into the Halloween mood: QUOTE I've learned there are three things you don't discuss with people: religion, politics and the Great Pumpkin.
Never jump into a pile of leaves with a wet sucker.
Character 1: You've heard of the fury of a woman scorned, haven't you? Character 2: Yeah, I guess I have. Character 1: Well, that's nothing compared to the fury of a woman who has been cheated out of trick-or-treats. Yep...definitely words of wisdom to live by!

I'm going to answer my own post because I woke up this morning with a random movie quote in my head that I think needs to be posted! So, the answer is "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown," and here's the quote that came to me at 8 am:
"STRIKE FIRST, STRIKE HARD, NO MERCY, SIR!"
(Think lots of teenage boys yelling this at the top of their lungs)

Giant Pumpkin - No, 'Karate Kid' - Yes! I believe that's the Cobra bunch training if my memory serves. Scarily similar to the scene in 'Renaissance Man' where Danny DeVito drives past a bunch of soldiers in training... all yelling 'Kill!' So, now the NaNo's over I feel like setting a challenge! QUOTE Character One: They are gentle, loving, faithful, lacking in all guile and trickery. The words denoting lying, deceit, greed, envy, slander, and forgiveness have never been heard. They have no jealousy, no sense of possession. Real, what I thought a dream.
Character Two: Why does the Earth have colours?
Sticking very closely to the director's usual style these are voiceover in the film, not actual conversational pieces... (how vague a clue is that!) Good luck!

Oh, so a gimme! The new world, with Colin Farrel and tha chick who's name I'd never be able to spell, but it's begins with 'Q'... QUOTE Character 1: I'm on Planet 'X' lookin' for a dweeb who wears green fatigues. He wears glasses. [puts his hands around his eyes] Character 2: [puts his hands around his eyes, copying Character 1] Character 1: He has long hair. [puts his hand to his head and brings it down] Character 1: And he [pretends to sneeze] sneezes. Character 2: Ich! [clucks like a chicken] Character1: Chicken. Chicken! Yes, Chicken Man!
