Well, if you do, forget the Lotto Extra. The chances are about 14,000,000 - 1 of winning. The Lotto is better, but less people play it, so you're more likely to get a higher prize on the Thunderball. But then, there's better chances with the scratchcards.
However, even better is to not play at all. Each time you play, you lose £1. If you win, it'll take you at least five goes, and the prize is mostly £1. So you lose 80p each time you play. You need to win a fiver to break even. If you don't play at all, you get a guaranteed £5 for each five you don't play.
So, even though the Lottery is there, forget it. Spend the money on a new CD or something much more enjoyable.
