14%The second chapter was very interesting. I'm looking forward to find out what happened between Matthew and Hope. This story makes me reread the former stories again. It's good to read a story, that is so well written including correct grammar and spelling.

What happened at Christmas?! Poor Matthew. Does she like him? It's hard to tell with Hope, but i'm pretty sure he likes her. Love the scene from Hope's childhood. It's so sweet to see Harry with his child! P.S. Where is Sam during this story? Hogwarts?

As for Sam... unfortunately we had to get rid of him... (and now I'm feeling massively guilty!) To find out his fate, you really need to read Alphie's latest fic., but he's been deleted in a very Big Brother fashion!

Author's Response: I'd say that most of this fic is character and character development. Certainly for the next few chapters we're playing with both of their pasts in the pensieve, and the two of them are colossal fun. This fic has spawned so many plot bunnies in my betas, you have no idea!
Chapter 8 is where the fics start to deviate massively. I've just written an alternate chapter 8 for PS and SQ today. If I can keep this straight it'll be a miracle.

You're starting us very slowly... I wonder what you have up your sleeves. Surely a Gred and Forge prototype can't be that tame, now could it? Hmm. So far, so good. Matthew and Hope are a lot of fun - I'm looking forward to seeing what sort of plot you've got cooked up for us.

That was marvellous! The dynamic between Matthew and Hope is perfect. So is the dynamic between Hope and Holly and Hope and her Mom. I love how Hope got stuck babysitting her younger sister and then got stuck without her friends. They are definitely Slytherins! That was sneaky. And now I guess the joke's on me, since you sent me just one chapter and it's a cliffhanger! I hate it when that happens! Testing a Gred and Forge prototype - now that's living dangerously! And here we thought Ginny was a handful!
Author's Response: ROFL. Glad you liked it. I'm always a complete bag of nerves when I'm posting something new, and this story is completely different to anything I've done before.
Now we're both driving everyone nuts because it's not going to be posted until Friday. Chapter 2 will be along on Tuesday, so you don't have long to wait!
