Whoops! Have been quite lax. Here we go:
What word is this riddle describing?
Pronounced differently but spelled the same I have many meanings from obscure to mundane In a trip across water I get there before you In precipitation amazing, a marvel to awe you One naming of me means to acknowledge the praise I move fastest in music as the violin maestro plays Taught to children of all ages , or trip up they would I was also much favoured by a notorious Hood.

A man was locked in a room with only a bed, a calendar, and a piano. How did he drink, how did he eat, and how did he get out?

Is that David Bowie?” “Never mind that, look!” the American exchange student exclaimed. “I found the Triwizard cup! It’s mine! All mine! I’ll finally get the fame and glory and honor I deserve!” “Stupefy,” said Harry. The American exchange student dropped to the ground, stunned. “Woah!” Cedric exclaimed in astonishment. “You can do magic?!” “Come on, Cedric,” Harry sighed. “We’d better take this together. Here's an interesting one:
Always invisible, yet never out of sight.
What is it?

Nice try, but it is never out of sight. Can you see air? Clue: Within the sentence, try to look for a word that can be formed into two...

Okay, I'm thinking it's 9, 2, and 2. Here's my warped reasoning: "6, 6, and 1" and "9, 2, and 2" fullfill the conditions that the product of their ages is 36. The sum of each is 13, so obviously, the number of stores would have to be 13. Now, presuming that when the man said "oldest", he meant oldest "single child", not one of a set of twins, it is probable that it is not 6, 6, and 1, leaving us with the possible answer of 9, 2, and 2. Am I close? Jerry, going to take a tylenol for his pounding head
