I love this episode of Buffy, the Vampire Slayer! This is from "Once More, With Feeling," right? I'm not sure of the official title - I'm guessing it's "Going Through the Motions" that starts the episode...
Just want to make sure I'm correct before posting the next set of lyrics!

Hooray! I just Tivo'd that episode... Apparently, it has become habit to post all of the lyrics to a song, so I'll break the habit and only post a stanza. If I post the entire song, it will become very easy to guess! QUOTE And he played Fire on the Mountain Run boys, run The devil's in the House of the Rising Sun Chicken in a bread pan picken' out dough Granny does your dog bite No child, no

The Devil Went Down To Georgia by charlie daniels QUOTE It's these substandard motels on the (lalalalala) corner of 4th and Fremont Street. Appealing only because they are just that un-appealing Any practiced catholic would cross themselves upon entering. The rooms have a hint of asbestos and maybe just a dash of formaldehyde, And the habit of decomposing right before your very (lalalala) eyes.
and then QUOTE There are no raindrops on roses and girls in white dresses. It's sleeping with roaches and taking best guesses At the shade of the sheets and before all the stains And a few more of your least favorite things.
possibly showing how young I am... but I still think its a really good song This post has been edited by Anaticula: Aug 28 2006, 08:43 PM

Build God Then We'll Talk By Panic At The Disco This is a song from one of my favorite books. it is pretty much a give-away QUOTE 'Beasts of England, beasts of Ireland, Beasts of every land and clime, Hearken to my joyful tidings Of the golden future time. 'Soon or late the day is coming, Tyrant Man shall be o'erthrown, And the fruitful fields of England Shall be trod by beasts alone.
'Rings shall vanish from our noses, And the harness from our back, Bit and spur shall rust forever, Cruel whips no more shall crack.
'Riches more than mind can picture, Wheat and barley, oats and hay, Clover, beans, and mangel-wurzels Shall be ours upon that day.
'Bright will shine the fields of England, Purer shall its waters be, Sweeter yet shall blow its breezes On the day that sets us free.
'For that day we all must labour, Though we die before it break; Cows and horses, geese and turkeys, All must toil for freedom's sake.
'Beasts of England, beasts of Ireland, Beasts of every land and clime, Hearken well and spread my tidings Of the golden future time.

That's 'Beasts of England', from Orwell's 'Animal Farm'
"Tomorrow is another day, the cat's are out to play, to play! That old rusty space ship wants to sail, into the milky way again, On a river of red red wine...
Run run run run run, run run run run, run run run run, Let's have some fun fun fun fun fun, fun fun fun fun. fun fun fun fun fun fun, We'll drink drink drink drink drink, drink drink drink, drink drink drink, A toast to the sun sun sun sun sun, sun sun sun sun, sun sun sun sun sun sun..."

That's from '1984' Don't know what it's called, 'tis for thee', maybe?
ergo, oceanus, maritimus, opacare, matutinis, septentrio, meridies, ocidens et orientis
Or in English:
Therefore, ocean, sea, dusk dawn, north, south, west and east.
