I've got to totally re-work my novel idea, because for my Gifted Education IEP I'm working on my Great American Novel... Which was my Montana werewolves story, which, coincidentally, can be found at fictionpress.com, under my pen name, LadyChi21 (yea, I know, I'm original).

So, I have to come up with a brilliant idea between then and now.

My story is going to be set in a magical world called "The Gossamer Woods". It's basically going to be a battle between good and evil. My main characters are Logan, Lillia, Isabella and Crystal (fairies) Cassie and Gwen (human). I've already begun the prologue, which is quite short.

I'm really looking forward to writing this story and I can't wait until November!

Well, up until yesterday I had some bizarre idea to have my story unfold in a surreal, black and white film-type world where everything seems to be leading to a tragic and bloody ending, but fortunately I realised in time that it would probably drive me slowly but surely insane! blink.gif

So now it's a nice cheerful twisted fairytale set in the kingdoms of Oglavia and Rodolphia, with a gangly redheaded heroine who loves to knit and can talk to frogs.

What a great summary. laugh.gif

Well, I will either dive into my major Harry Potter fanfiction story I've been plotting out the last year or do something original, in which case I would write a historical fantasy set in the court of Henry VIII. (Yes, I'm lazy. So there! tongue.gif )

The fanfiction has the advantage of being already plotted out as well as borrowing the HP settings. The historical fantasy is but in the barest stages of plotting (however, I still have a month) and I know the setting forwards and backwards (at least those parts I'm leaving historical).

I'll keep thinking about it. . . .
