but what on earth is the toast marketing board?

For the Toast Marketing Board, you really must read Jasper fforde's books. Truly hilarious!

The name was taken from his Thursday Next stories, and has been applied to a lot of Elenarda's regulars. If you particularly want to be in the TMB, just yell up and you can eat toast too!
