These were some of the original fantasy books I read, and I'm about to reread them.

The two things I always look at in this series that simply amaze me and make me drool with envy is one, the complete and utter originality of the entire series (I've never seen anything that was such a deviant from classic fantasy story-lines), and the way Piers Anthony can make his series humourous without forcing it in the slightest. If anyong had suggested basing a world in magical puns, I would of rolled my eyes, but the author pulls it off brilliantly and creates one of my absolute favorite worlds.
