OK, it has come to my attention that some people here at Elenarda don't yet grasp the scope of INVICTUS. This page is therefore set up to help keep you informed of progess so as to prevent my untimely demise at the hands of sockless!
Below is the table of contents. Chapters without a notation are complete. Chapters with UC are partially done and those with WIP are ones I haven't touched yet.
I will periodically update this so people know the story's progress.
Current stats are now: 320 pages & 88,944 words in Word 97. (7/04/04)

Yes, you!  I've added another 4 pages and expect to wrap Ch 7 this weekend and Ch 6 by weds. Have all the elements, just need to write! (remember sockless, I also work 65 hrs a week too) ~The Evil Author~

Just a quick update. Chapter 4 will be up, hopefully, later today. Also, Chapter 5 is going to Beta in about an hour.
I've got to pull 4 open to close shifts from Mon to Thurs so I won't get much done until Friday. However, I can state that I've fixed some spacing problems and added another four pages so the total project numbers now stand at 236 pages and 65,656 words. Chapter 35 & 36 are gelling nicely and 6 & 7 will wrap on Friday.

OK, a quick update. The story is now at 247 pages & 69,117 words. For those who don't understand the signifigance of this, juut realize that HP & SS came in at 76,000 words & HP & CoS was 85,000. Chapter 7 in done Chapter 6 should wrap tonight. Chapter 5 will be edited later today & hopefully be in B-arts hands tonight. I expect to knock off Chapters 14, 16, 18, 35 & 36 in the coming weeks. Just keep in mind, my fellow Elenardians, that by this Sunday night (the 9th) I will have put in 160 hrs at work in the past two weeks, so keep the faith. the best is yet to come! Don't worry about that HG, its bit rough but not like what I did from 1997-2000 when i worked an average 100 hrs a week (and often split between 2 states! Nor is it like when circumstances forced me to split hours between Mb and Columbia SC (2 1/2 hrs apart) when I did four closes in MB and three in Columbia and I stayed in Columbia using a climate controlled storage bin as a base of operations. Not exactly the Hilton, but with a matress, tv, microwave 7 some books, it certainly was the most peaceful place I've ever stayed. Now its back to a more managable 65-70 and I actually have time for some semblence of a life! Robert
