Is it possible for the average member to log in anonymous?

Yes, you can. All you have to do when you log in is to check the box that says something along the lines of 'Show as anonymous' and you will be. Admins can still see you flitting through, but normal users can't.

I always find that when i see an 'Anon' on the list, Imogen seems to be posting....lol

The only downside is if your name is Anon.
