I'm torn. I've got a great little plot for a Young Adult novel and have been sitting on it, expecting to do it in November.
BUT, I've just restarted all this fanfic, so I kind of feel that I should try my hand at 50,000 words of that instead.
I'm not sure, and I've only got until tomorrow to make my mind up! If it's fanfic, I'll post it here; if it's an original, I'm not sure it will get posted - but I might set up a Yahoo Group of something for a pre-beta reaction.
What are you all doing, and can you post links to where you're doing your NaNo as well?

Well, after a couple of weeks of agonising over two plots, I eventually dumped the Sci-Fi idea (worth: one paragraph ) in favour of the thriller/action-adventure/comedy that I've been thinking about for a little bit of time (worth: two chapters at least ) As for the locale of my nano stuff, simply look to my siggy where all links shall appear. There's currently a link to my entry from last year (which after nine months just got a new chapter - woooohoooo!) and a link that will take you to my fp profile for this year. When I've actually put up the first chapter this link will change to a direct link to the story But yes, so far this is two chapters planned and a good bunch of characters (about 9-10) so it should keep itself jet propelling along for ages - enough to reach 50K I hope - all I need to do is the extra 666.6 words a day as I averaged 1K last attempt. Oh, and I also promise to cut down on the number of characters who find themselves in fights with angry daemons ( ), I can't actually afford to keep killing off people this year if I'm in a mood when writing . yoda 1 Day, 11 Hours, 39 Minutes and A Number Of Seconds to go!

I'm a bit behind with Nano. Combination of problems with the website and too much on at work.
I'm going to try and catch up today, (currently around the 6,000 word mark) but I'm not stressing over it. The chapters are being churned out and that's what really matters.
How's it going Yoda?

well, the NaNo progresseth, to use my favourite phrase when talking about this marvellous beast of burden (or so it seems) I'm about 2k behind this weekend, and you'll notice that this is even after staying up until now to try and cut it back - a combination of family birthdays and friends behind home that I couldn't really avoid with an 'I'm writing!' excuse!
Still, I'm confident that I'm keeping a better pace this time, and I seem to be able to ramble quite effectively - more so than with last year when I came to start caring about my characters, instead of killing them all off to keep the chapters moving along.
So far - 0 casualties - aside from a bruise, and a couple of scrapes - so far, so good!

I'm doing surprisingly well this year. I've been bitten by a whole new other bunny and should be passing the 20,000 word mark tonight. Don't worry though - it's all fanfic, so you'll get to see it in the end...
Am stunned this is going so well. Usually I'm playing catch up with all nighters at the end.

Go! Go! Go!
From what I've had the chance to read, both stories are wonderful. Wishing you both lots of luck on your goal!

I'm done with the wordage, but i haven't finished the story yet. Been typing so frantically I've completely forgotten to post the next chapter of 'Home' So I'm done, but not done. But you can all expect an extra something in your Christmas stocking. Check in between Christmas and New Year for a new fic with daily posting involving a grown-up Hope! It'll be finished off in the next few days, I hope! *wants to collapse but can't*
