QUOTE (My bit)
"Where is it?" he called out in the darkened room.

"Where did I put it?" he wondered.

"Where did it go?" he pondered.

He pondered for a very long time on this. A lifetime, in fact. He spent many hours a day just thinking where he had put it. If he'd ever find it. If he even had it in the first place.

It had been years since he saw it last. But the memories became blurred as they faded into time. He was not sure what he was looking for and he didn't even know whether he'd seen it in the first place before. The memory just faded.

But now he felt he could remember it again. After all this time, it had awoken in his mind, and now it seemed it was coming back. Parts reformed in his mind. He was unsure still of whether he had seen it before, but at least now he knew where to look. At least now he knew where he was going. At least now he had a fighting chance.

He had found what he was looking for. It had taken him a few months longer than he hoped, but he found it. It was there all the time, right under his nose. He had seen where he put it.

He vowed to mislay it again. He knew that if it left him again there was a chance he might never have found it again. He knew that if it ever walked away from him, he'd never see again. And that would hurt.

He had found what he wanted. He found what was lost. He found love.

After this, I must say I did it in half the time. I felt I could only write on this subject for a shorter time than expected. I don't like losing things, and so don't wish to dwell on it too long. Sorry.

However, other people should write for 15mins. That's the deal, remember?

Now this one isn't like me at all. Curious about comments on this because I feel a short story brewing...

QUOTE
She simply couldn’t tear her eyes away. The mirror held her, hypnotically drawing upon a silent beat of emotions harking back to the dawn of time. Her dark eyes, calm and unmoving; nothing stirred. The deadly silence portrayed nothing of the unstoppable flood waters that churned, and surged then turned within. Her face was nothing. Her life. Lost. Gone forever.

Her own hand savagely slashed across her face. The scarlet, swelling, seeping lipsticked colour was harshly violent against the pallor of her skin. Warning! Danger! War paint.

Let the battle commence.

QUOTE
She wasn’t suprised in the slightest, in fact these days she rarely was, ever since she had met him, he had been the same, more confidence than sense, and this time it had lept up and bit him on the rear hard, this time he was going to have to ask for help…

It started a few hours eariler, they had packed the car, offloaded the kids with his mum and dad, and made it to the ferry with no problems, no the trouble started once the drove off the ferry, and he made a wrong turning, no sorry not a wrong turning, it was the signs fault, they were all in a forign language, her response of “imagine that,” went down just as well as she thought it would do, as did the suggestion that they stop at the nearest town and, shock horror buy a map! No he was just going to have to swallow his pride, admit he was lost, and stop and ask for directions, of course he would have to do this where no-one was likley to speak english.

Her patience was wearing thin, it was now late afternoon and he still hadn’t asked for help, where they were going to sleep for the night she did not know, it definatly was’nt going to be in this ruddy car, parked up on the roadside.

Now, that really takes…

So it's all YOUR fault then?

QUOTE (The one complaining about bunnies)
So it's all YOUR fault then?

Seeing as Bart's not around to blame, I'll couldn't well blame him.

However, why not?

It's Bart! He started it!

Anyway, having a bunny is nothing to be annoyed about. They hop around, look cute and attract a lot of attention. I should know...
