The next person likes presents.

I love presents!

The next person likes to wrap presents.

Posted by: Agent Smith Jun 15 2005, 12:42 AM

No. It is ver strenuous work, Mr. Anderson.

The next person will point out my typo

Posted by: Cristin Jun 15 2005, 04:26 AM

ver = very

(But after you read 26 fourth grade papers, mostly English language learners, you tend to gloss over typos...)

The next person is suffering from a headache - ouch!

Posted by: Jerry Jun 15 2005, 05:30 AM

Actually, yes. And Tylenol isn't helping, unfortunately. unsure.gif

The next person is experiencing very humid weather

Posted by: RJOCL12 Jun 15 2005, 08:09 AM

Yep, but I got A/C!

The next person actually experienced yesterday's quake.

Posted by: Yoda Jun 15 2005, 12:34 PM

Being as how I'm in the wrong part of the world, nope - not even the after-aftereffects (in theory the wave should have travelled to here and shifted our plate by a few feet - but no one would notice.

The next person has experienced a UK-based earthquake... (late 80's there was a small one that I can remember - knocked everyone in my class off their chairs, and mum off the sofa back home!)

Posted by: Drie Jun 15 2005, 03:52 PM

Nope, only quakes I've experienced are California based ones. The last one here was fun! (If you like that kind of thing)

The next person lives in an area that gets humid in summer.

Posted by: Tally Jun 15 2005, 06:56 PM

Humid is an understatement.

WOW!

The next person does right-handed cartwheels.

Posted by: hershey Jun 15 2005, 10:42 PM

That would be an understatement.

The following poster found Quickhare's answer impressive.

Posted by: Drie Jun 15 2005, 11:38 PM

Yes, seeing as I only said 3 bands...wink.gif

The next person likes to run.

Posted by: hershey Jun 16 2005, 02:22 AM

For as long as my knees will let me, yes!

The next person prefers raspberry lemonade over regular lemonade.

Posted by: Jerry Jun 16 2005, 02:47 AM

I don't like lemonade that much, actually. smile.gif

The next person often engages in some sort of hobby to get away from reality

Posted by: hershey Jun 16 2005, 02:51 AM

I like to make my own cards, but often I don't get away from reality doing so. Reality kind of carries on around me as I do my craft, all the while blissfully attempting to ignore reality.

The next person makes checklists so as to not forget to do things.

Posted by: Cristin Jun 16 2005, 02:59 AM

Only when I'm at work - after the students leave, and I have to prep the next day, it's helpful to know what I need to copy, read, grade, etc...

The next person has had something wiped out on their computer. (I'm afraid it's my report cards...gulp!)

Posted by: Yoda Jun 16 2005, 11:53 AM

It is the price I pay for having a crap computer, both at home and at work (although the one at work is generally slow rather than breaking).

The next person has a laptop they take to and from work, rather than two separate pcs...

Posted by: Drie Jun 16 2005, 04:17 PM

Nope, and I prefer it this way. Easier on my shoulders going to and from work! wink.gif

The next person knows what television show Johnny Depp got his start on. drool.gif

Posted by: RJOCL12 Jun 16 2005, 06:06 PM

That would be 21 jump street (now available on DVD)

The next person can name the rest of the cast.

Posted by: Jerry Jun 17 2005, 12:03 AM

Sorry, but I can't. wink.gif

The next person has an abundance of freckles

Posted by: Cristin Jun 17 2005, 03:56 AM

Not as many as my sis, but I do have quite a few. More shall appear as I spend more time in the sun over summer!

The next person to respond is feeling rather sleepy...

Posted by: RJOCL12 Jun 17 2005, 08:59 AM

True, and I'm off to be as soon as read the latest on Anna May

The next poster will know of which HP story I am refering to.

Posted by: Jerry Jun 19 2005, 02:38 AM

I can't say I recall.

The next person can whistle with two fingers

Posted by: RJOCL12 Jun 19 2005, 06:39 AM

Nope!

The story is called Harry Potter and the Philitre of Promise over at Phoenixsong. Anna May is a precoious 7 yr old Seer who is a 1st year attending Hogwarts and is one of the best OCs created in many a month. The story is brilliant!

http://www.phoenixsong.net/symphony/story/660/

The next person will express their preference for the NBA Finals outcome.

Posted by: Jerry Jun 20 2005, 01:33 AM

I never really cared much for basketball, so I guess I don't really mind if it's the Spurs or Pistons. But if faced with a definite choice, I would say Pistons.

The next person blushed today, at some point. blushing.gif

Posted by: hershey Jun 20 2005, 01:49 AM

Not that I recall.

The next person was blessed with the honor of spending it with their father. (how I envy you)

Posted by: Agent Smith Jun 20 2005, 03:51 AM

nope. My parents think Father's/mother's day is stupid. Just a way to waste money. Parents should be honored everyday

The next person is pumped up for the summer holidays.

Posted by: Cristin Jun 20 2005, 04:41 AM

Yep, especially since this is the first year in the last nine that I have not had to teach summer school as a means to make rent over the summer!! biggrin.gif

The next to repond is using a laptop.

Posted by: Jerry Jun 20 2005, 05:03 AM

Nope. Haven't used one in a long while, come to think of it. wink.gif

The next person finds it fascinating that the number of possible ways of playing the first four moves per side in a game of Chess is 318,979,564,000.

Posted by: Yoda Jun 20 2005, 11:58 AM

ARGH! MATHS!!!! ranting.gif That said, I do love chess, and try to be as un-mathematical as possible when playing, instead relying on being an evil, devious £&£(*"! (as on opponent put it).

The next person also plays chess from time to time...

Posted by: hershey Jun 20 2005, 02:11 PM

Yes I do, with my nine year old, who reveals in humiliating his mother when he wins which is most of the time. blushing.gif

The next person was recently embarassed in public.

Posted by: Drie Jun 20 2005, 05:18 PM

Nope, but I did that to my friend at her bridal shower on Saturday. We played the "game" where I wrote down all the things she said while opening her gifts then read them back as the things she will say to her new husband on her wedding night. She was rather red in the face... blushing.gif

The next person likes the smell of vanilla.

Posted by: hershey Jun 20 2005, 07:20 PM

Yes I do.

The next person perfers floral scents to spicy.

Posted by: RJOCL12 Jun 20 2005, 08:39 PM

With no real sense of smell, I would have to pass on this one.

The next person has the instructions for 3-D chess floating around the house.

Posted by: Jerry Jun 20 2005, 09:12 PM

I will have to say no to that one.

The next person finds it easier to study in silence than with soft music playing in the background

Posted by: RJOCL12 Jun 20 2005, 09:16 PM

Sometimes

The next person has a radio playing in the background

Here's the link to 3-D chess

Yes, I have! Great book.

The next person has light colored eyes.

Posted by: hershey Jun 20 2005, 11:36 PM

The next person had darker coloured hair.

Posted by: Jerry Jun 20 2005, 11:42 PM

I have fairly dark brown hair.

The next person has used an index card in the past hour

Posted by: Drie Jun 21 2005, 12:00 AM

Posted by: hershey Jun 21 2005, 01:42 AM

The next person likes banana splits.

Not in a while.

Banana splits icky? Shame on you! They're great!

The next person is taking a day off from work

Posted by: Yoda Jun 21 2005, 12:04 PM

In spirit, yes - in actuality ranting.gif

(Can anyone tell me what a ''C-1 Fatal Tree Error!'' is? Anyone? ANYONE?! ranting.gif)

The next person knows that despite all my complaining, I don't actually mind my job that much...

Posted by: hershey Jun 21 2005, 02:15 PM

Of course, don't we all. Complaining is simply a means by which we relieve the stress of those things we cannot control while deep down we know life could be much worse.

The next person is thankful each day for their blessings.

Posted by: Drie Jun 21 2005, 03:48 PM

Actually, thank you for reminding me of that. I was having trouble remembering that today until I read your post.

The next person likes to watch the sun set in the evening.

Posted by: hershey Jun 21 2005, 04:03 PM

As often as I can. My children, all of them, often capture our attention towards a beautiful evening sky, painted as they have been told by their Grandpa. My little princess loves it when her Grandpa sends her purple and pink clouds.

The next person still looks for pictures in the clouds.

Posted by: hockeygod Jun 21 2005, 04:22 PM

Of course. Its the only way to see the hidden spaceships and dragons that live in big billowy clouds.

The next person loves life, family, friends, and food!

Posted by: Drie Jun 21 2005, 05:33 PM

Life, yes! Family, yes! Friends, yes! Food -- not at the moment. wink.gif

Not especially, unless it is super hot out.

The next person does not live in my native state of Michigan.

The next person is on summer break/holiday.

(Lucky, as I don't start mine until this Friday...grumble... ranting.gif )

Posted by: Yoda Jun 22 2005, 11:45 AM

*looks around office*

ranting.gif

The next person does not get a 'summer holiday' in the way that teachers and kids do... (not that I'll complain now, I did get 21 of them biggrin.gif)

Posted by: hockeygod Jun 22 2005, 12:59 PM

Not anymore. According to my mom, now that I have graduated, I don't get anymore summer breaks.

The next person has found his or her true love.

Posted by: Drie Jun 22 2005, 03:38 PM

Why, yes, I do believe I have. rabbit.gif wub.gif

The next person his happy to have air conditioning where he or she is at the moment.

Posted by: hershey Jun 22 2005, 05:23 PM

Very much so.

The next person has received some surprising news lately.

Posted by: QuickHare Jun 22 2005, 07:25 PM

I have. At work, I found out that the PTB are deciding that we cannot do our work. Don't map, they say. Instead, you can do post-edit work. But there's not enough access for everyone to post-edit. So we must map. But we're not allowed to. Argh! What a bunch of (the rest of this paragraph was cut by QH's own censorship)

The next person thinks I'm as complaining as Yoda, now!
ranting.gif

Posted by: Drie Jun 22 2005, 08:09 PM

Nope. We all have difficult days at work from time to time, and it can be very frustrating when you can't perform your job to the best of your ability.

The next person is experiencing warm weather at the moment.

Posted by: QuickHare Jun 22 2005, 08:40 PM

Warm? Even 70mph with windows down on the way home (safely in the speed limit!) wasn't enough to cool me down.

The next person loves to travel at speed (safely in the speed limit!).

Posted by: Cristin Jun 23 2005, 05:18 AM

As I get older, I find that I'm content with traveling the speed limit...unless I'm on the freeway and a great, inspirational, heart-pounding song comes on and the highway is open and I get the temptation to step on the gas...

(Now I'm wishing I were in my Jeep on the freeway in the desert blaring Led Zepplin...)

The next person has stayed up late at least one night this week.

Posted by: Jerry Jun 23 2005, 05:22 AM

*looks at watch* Nope tongue.gif

The next person is on the threshold of summer break

Posted by: hershey Jun 23 2005, 01:10 PM

We are actually two weeks into our "summer break" although it hardly feels like a "break" to me.

The next person has tried iced coffee and will share their opinion.

Posted by: Drie Jun 23 2005, 03:36 PM

I have, and it really isn't my cup of tea. laugh.gif

The next person loves summer fruit.

Posted by: QuickHare Jun 23 2005, 06:56 PM

Not too keen on strawberries, but love other summer fruits.

The next person loves pineapple, unlike me.

Posted by: hershey Jun 24 2005, 02:14 AM

At least one, but it has been some time.

The next person has manuevered their way out of receiving such a ticket.

Posted by: Jerry Jun 24 2005, 03:10 AM

Well, I don't know. I have to get a license first, let alone a ticket. tongue.gif

The next person has visited the dentist recently

Posted by: Drie Jun 24 2005, 03:44 PM

Posted by: hershey Jun 24 2005, 08:03 PM

No can't say that I have.

The next person owns something of value that is autographed.

Posted by: Drie Jun 24 2005, 08:09 PM

Well, they're valuable to me. I've a few books signed by the author, and I hold them in very high regard, especially the one signed by Adriana Trigiani.

The next person has a phone book handy.

Posted by: hockeygod Jun 25 2005, 03:23 PM

Can't say that I do.

The next person has a job.

Posted by: hershey Jun 25 2005, 04:14 PM

Two actually - one is 24/7 and the other is one weekend per month.

The next person knows how to drive stick.

Posted by: hockeygod Jun 25 2005, 04:42 PM

Really the only way that a teenage boy can feel truly free is to drive a stick at 110 mph *coughnot that i have or anythingcough*

The next person wants kids, but does not have them.

Posted by: QuickHare Jun 25 2005, 06:49 PM

I want them, but not until I and my partner is ready for them.

The next person agrees.

Posted by: Drie Jun 25 2005, 07:12 PM

Very much so!

The next person lives on an island.

Posted by: QuickHare Jun 25 2005, 08:14 PM

Everyone does. Every country is on some land, and all landmasses are surrounded by water, and this makes all land islands. I just live on a small island inhabited by three countries (England, Wales and Scotland, which are countries in their own right!).

The next person lives near the equator.

Posted by: hockeygod Jun 25 2005, 11:02 PM

Depends. I waiver between 6 to 9 hours.

The next person can see snow from their house.

Posted by: Drie Jun 26 2005, 05:17 PM

At the moment, no. There are days in the winter that I can look up to the San Gabriel mountains and see snow, but it looks to be pretty much all melted now.

The next person lives in a community where there is excellent public transportation.

Posted by: QuickHare Jun 26 2005, 06:25 PM

The next person likes licking stamps.

Posted by: Jerry Jun 26 2005, 06:28 PM

Actually, I do biggrin.gif.

The next person has read a humorous book recently

Posted by: QuickHare Jun 26 2005, 06:30 PM

Not all the way through, but I have rad funny bits from a book recently.

The next person is trying to do many things at once.

Posted by: Drie Jun 26 2005, 06:47 PM

No more than usual -- posting and IM-ing at the same time. wink.gif

The next person is at the end of his/her day.

Posted by: QuickHare Jun 26 2005, 06:52 PM

Still many hours to go yet, so no.

The next person is about to fall asleep...

Posted by: Jerry Jun 26 2005, 06:56 PM

Yes, considering the amount of sleep (or lack thereof) I got last night.

The next person will state his/her favorite ice-cream flavor

Posted by: Drie Jun 26 2005, 06:57 PM

I don't eat ice cream much any more, but when I do, I prefer peanut-butter chocolate from Baskin and Robins (31 Flavors).

The next person would rather have a marshmallow topping on a sundae over chocolate sauce or hot fudge.

Posted by: hershey Jun 27 2005, 04:18 PM

Sacriledge! Absolutely not, while yummy marshmellow topping could never top ( tongue.gif ) any chocolate variety in my opinion.

The next person like frozen, chocolate covered bananas.

Posted by: Jerry Jun 28 2005, 03:20 AM

I don't think I've ever had any.

The next person knows from which movie the latest quote is taken

Posted by: hershey Jun 28 2005, 03:32 AM

I believe I have seen it as it sounds familiar, but for now I am stumped.

The next person is enjoying an air conditioned break from the heat.

Posted by: Jerry Jun 28 2005, 03:34 AM

Yes. Actually, there isn't much heat at the moment outside, but humidity is 98%.

The next person is planning to see a movie this weekend

Posted by: Cristin Jun 28 2005, 03:50 AM

If you count watching a DVD at home, yes. In the theater, no. I have found that it is too expensive, and I'm tired of cell phones ringing despite reminders not to, and the constant whispering.

The next person prefers shakes to malts.

Posted by: hershey Jun 28 2005, 03:56 AM

Yes I do. The only malt flavored beverage I have liked was a Mocha Malt Frappacino served by Starbucks last summer only! I was so disappointed they discontinued it. dry.gif

The next person dislikes humidity.

Posted by: Cristin Jun 28 2005, 04:01 AM

Absolutely! Even in California, the deserts have become humid (thanks to people moving to Palm Springs and all the golf courses out there that need watering). I have to go to Arizona to find a dry heat - the only heat I can tolerate!

The next person has seen the preview to "King Kong."

Posted by: hershey Jun 28 2005, 04:03 AM

I have not, sorry.

The next person can name four good looking actors who naturally speak with a British accent.

The next person has been to Mt. Rushmore.

Posted by: hershey Jun 28 2005, 04:07 AM

Not as yet, but perhaps later this summer. The new travel trailer will be picked up this week.

The next person has been to Niagara Falls.

Posted by: Jerry Jun 28 2005, 04:12 AM

Yes, as you know. wink.gif

The next person enjoys playing baseball

Posted by: Drie Jun 28 2005, 11:54 PM

Nope, never really enjoyed that sport.

The next person has a favorite sporting team.

Posted by: Cristin Jun 29 2005, 04:07 AM

Well, NASCAR has individual drivers, not teams, so...

Green Bay Packers! (the only football team I follow, the only reason I will watch football)

The next person to respond is addicted to a t.v. show and will share what show it is.

Posted by: Billywig2 Jun 29 2005, 04:30 AM

Well, there's the O.C., Doctor Who, and the first episode of House was on here on Sunday, and I think I'll be addicted to that, and then there's also Black Books, and Comedy Inc.

And to think, before I stayed at grandma's, where there's nothing to do, a few weeks ago, all I ever watched was McLeod's Daughters! ohmy.gif

The next person prefers Summer to Winter.

Posted by: Jerry Jun 29 2005, 04:37 AM

As in Vivaldi's Four Seasons? Summer. wink.gif

As in the "regular" seasons, I definitely prefer winter to summer, mainly because I cannot stand heat and humidity, which defines the summer here in New York. However, if I would have to choose between dry heat and below-zero coldness, I would take the heat. (As long as there is absolutely no humidity!)

The next person enjoys swimming

Posted by: Billywig2 Jun 29 2005, 08:13 AM

LOVE it. Defiantly my favorite passtime in summer, nothing better than a nice swim in the creek boat.gif

The next person enjoys recieving snail mail.

Posted by: Yoda Jun 29 2005, 11:57 AM

Yep, because in my current state they're never bills biggrin.gif Although, most of them are boring letters from the bank encouraging me to generate bills ranting.gif

The next person likes Quavers

Posted by: Drie Jun 29 2005, 03:37 PM

As I'm not sure what Quavers are/is, I can't give you an accurate answer, sorry!

The next person can say "I'm sorry" in another language.

Posted by: QuickHare Jun 29 2005, 09:17 PM

Ik ben droevig.
Je suis désolé.
Ich bin traurig.
Sono spiacente.
Eu sou pesaroso.
Estoy apesadumbrado.

Now the next person will identify the languages.... wink.gif

Posted by: Billywig2 Jun 29 2005, 11:33 PM

first one's dutch, beyond that I'm lost... french? German?

The next person can identify the ones I didn't or got wrong.

Posted by: Cristin Jun 30 2005, 12:03 AM

One of them is Spanish, another is Italian. Right order? Don't know...

The next to respond has sneezed today.

"Bless you!"

Posted by: hershey Jun 30 2005, 12:34 AM

No, which is unusual.

The next person to post will yawn before doing so.

Posted by: Billywig2 Jun 30 2005, 01:06 AM

Well, I didn't yawn, but I did sneeze rolleyes.gif

The next person doesn't get hayfever.

Posted by: Cristin Jun 30 2005, 02:26 AM

I do now, but not when I was a kid...weird!

The next person to respond has a favorite rap song.

Posted by: Yoda Jun 30 2005, 11:49 AM

'lose yourself' by Eminem

The next person knows the award this song took home from Hollywood...

Posted by: Drie Jun 30 2005, 03:19 PM

That would be the coveted golden Oscar, given by the Academy, and the presenter was Barbara Streissand. That was quite the memory!

The next person watches the Academy Awards every year.

Posted by: hershey Jun 30 2005, 04:06 PM

But of course.

iconup2.GIFiconup2.GIF tsk, Drie! wrong 'un - (I've never posted in PAY much anyway)

the next person can make a 'better' guess (i.e. an excellent guess as opposed to a great guess)...

Posted by: QuickHare Jul 18 2005, 07:23 PM

A Master at The Force, but hasn't read HP yet? He's missing from http://www.elenarda.com/forum/index.php?act=ST&f=6&t=714 and doesn't wish to be subject to many spoilers.

The next person will not follow the link above as they, too, don't wish to read spoilers.

Posted by: hockeygod Jul 18 2005, 07:42 PM

Exaxctly, although a friend of mine read it and has spoiled a few things for me.

The next person has great friends that would do the same thing.

Posted by: QuickHare Jul 18 2005, 08:56 PM

My friends know not to give things away. Like Yoda and some films in the past.... wink.gif

The next person is happy.

Posted by: Drie Jul 18 2005, 09:12 PM

At the moment, yes! teehee.gif

The next person enjoys baking.

Posted by: hockeygod Jul 19 2005, 02:35 AM

That depends on if its food thats baking or me baking in the sun, because I do like to bake brownies and chocolate-chip cookies.

The next person likes a good grill-out.

Posted by: Cristin Jul 19 2005, 04:32 AM

Only if it's my husband or my father doing the grilling!

The next person enjoys baked potatoes.

Posted by: hershey Jul 19 2005, 04:33 AM

Yes I do.

The next person has not finished reading HBP.

(I finally just finished about an hour ago although I correctly guessed some occurences & confirmed them by skimming ahead before taking the crew to "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" this afternoon where we viewed a GOF trailer! fing05.gif )

Posted by: Cristin Jul 19 2005, 04:41 AM

I will hang my head in shame, as I have yet to begin reading it. I got it in my head that I needed to revisit the first 5 books, and as of right now am over half way through the first one. Lots of detail revisited, but it will take me a while until I can share with the rest of you!

The next person thought ahead and has already read the first five books so that they could jump right into the sixth book!

Posted by: Billywig2 Jul 19 2005, 09:50 AM

Well, I was *plannning* on reading them, but my brother "borrowed" my books, (meaning that he stole them off my bookshelf while I was in America last year) and only returned them to me (in less than perfect condition, I might add - *how* did he get the chamber of secrets *wet*!?) in enough time for me to read ootp again. ranting.gif

The next person hates it when someone else treats their books with less reverence then oneself would use.

Posted by: Drie Jul 19 2005, 03:20 PM

I do. Just because it is a book, so many people feel that it is okay to bang them up or break an unbroken spine. I find that really rude.

The next person doesn't share my views.

Posted by: USMCDevilDog Jul 19 2005, 05:59 PM

Wrong, I do share your views.

Next person was inspired to write a fanfic after reading HBP

Posted by: Jerry Jul 19 2005, 08:29 PM

Nope, not really.

The next person has succeeded in reading HBP in one sitting sorcerer.gif

Posted by: Drie Jul 19 2005, 08:45 PM

Yep! Though, I did take about an hour's break to go and get dinner and stuff for a party for the next night.

The next person still skips/jumps rope.

Posted by: hockeygod Jul 19 2005, 11:20 PM

No, as I never could in the first place.

The next person has a Harry Potter bookmark.

Posted by: Cristin Jul 20 2005, 06:19 AM

It's a bookmark of Hedwig.

The next to respond is feeling thirsty right now.

Posted by: Billywig2 Jul 20 2005, 07:35 AM

actually, yes

The next person refused a date and/or appointment or something to read HBP

Posted by: Yoda Jul 20 2005, 12:01 PM

nope, happily read straight through from midnight biggrin.gif

Bonus marks to QH though, who notes I haven't yet posted a review/anything in the HBP thread yet (although for the wrong reason tongue.gif) - I'm trying to sum up thoughts - always a challenge with me (which QH will also testify to!) laugh.gif

The next person has read HBP...twice...!...

Posted by: Drie Jul 20 2005, 03:59 PM

No, have only just begun the re-read.

The next person has candy nearby.

Posted by: Cristin Jul 20 2005, 08:24 PM

Actually, no, for once!

The next person has an opal.

Posted by: Billywig2 Jul 21 2005, 06:38 AM

I have a peice of glass shaped like a dog with lots of chips of opal in it, that my friend got me when she went to Uluru, does that count?

The next person has been to an opal mine.

Posted by: Yoda Jul 21 2005, 11:42 AM

um...can coal be crushed into opals or is it just diamonds...? (nope!)

the next person can make an educated guess about which country I was in when I visited the coal mine mentioned above...

Posted by: Jerry Jul 21 2005, 10:47 PM

Australia, Germany, India, China, U.S.A? blink.gif

The next person will be Yoda, correcting my answer biggrin.gif

Posted by: Cristin Jul 22 2005, 04:40 AM

Nope, just me! biggrin.gif

The next person really IS Yoda and will let Jerry know whether he is correct or not.

Posted by: Jerry Jul 22 2005, 05:17 AM

Alas, no. 'Tis Jerry again. wink.gif

The next person will find it interesting that 'Severus Snape' is an anagram of 'Suave Serpens' (Charming Snake).

Posted by: hockeygod Jul 23 2005, 03:28 AM

Yes I do.

The next person has to move soon.

Posted by: Billywig2 Jul 23 2005, 11:00 AM

Well, if you count moving out of home in january/feb sometime to go to uni, yes.

The next person enjoys some sort of craft.

Posted by: hockeygod Jul 23 2005, 03:47 PM

If sandwich making counts, then yes. (Arthur Dent anyone?)

The next person likes a good sandwich that is toasty warm and gooey.

Posted by: QuickHare Jul 24 2005, 06:44 PM

My ideal sandwich would be well filled but not spilling out all over the place, cool, healthy and a bit on the moist side, like mayo or juicy cucumbers. And no chicken. Too dry.

The next person knows what their ideal breakfast would be.

Posted by: Cristin Jul 24 2005, 10:42 PM

Not much for breakfast...but if I have to eat it, it would be maple and brown sugar oatmeal with a banana and a mug full of ice cold milk. That, or Fruit Loops or Lucky Charms. biggrin.gif

The next to respond likes breakfast food for dinner.

Posted by: Billywig2 Jul 25 2005, 07:53 AM

... well, it's ten to six pm and I just had a bowl of nutri-grain (a cereal) but it's more of an after-school snack, tea's in the oven, still.

The next person prefers the dark meaat of a chicken instead of the drier, white meat.

Posted by: Yoda Jul 25 2005, 12:47 PM

I'm a white meat person meself.

and now I will finally tell Jerry which country I was in: Wales velho.gif The nearest area of coalpits to me (it just about beats the north of England's coal fields in closeness)

The next person knows more about the geography of coalpits in the UK...(or has a more interesting geographical fact about the UK...)

Posted by: QuickHare Jul 25 2005, 07:12 PM

Up north, around Scotland, there's a place called Kintyre. The Mull of Kintyre looks quite rude when looking at it in the 'right' way. Amazingly, the BBC used this as a standard for the straightest that rude shape is allowed to be before it is considered too rude for TV, even after the watershed. So, the BBC called it the "Mull of Kintyre Rule".

The next person will say if this geographical fact is interesting.

Posted by: Drie Jul 25 2005, 07:20 PM

Yes, and now I've got that song by Paul McCartney in my head! wink.gif

The next person owns a piece of jewlry with diamond(s) in it.

Posted by: QuickHare Jul 25 2005, 08:13 PM

Nope. The only jewellery I have is an old ring I don't wear anymore. It's silver, and it's engraved with a lie. But that's a different story.

The next person thinks diamonds are not really a girl's best friend.

Posted by: Drie Jul 25 2005, 08:36 PM

No, but they sure are nice to have.

The next person has changed his/her hair color at least once.

Posted by: QuickHare Jul 25 2005, 08:57 PM

No. And I'm not likely to. It changes colour by itself.

The next person paints their toenails, then wears shoes!

Posted by: Cristin Jul 26 2005, 06:58 PM

I don't keep my toenails long enough for paint, although I should to cover the bruised big toe nail I have!

The next person currently/used to bite their finger nails.

Posted by: Jerry Jul 26 2005, 07:02 PM

Used to, yes.

The next person will be going on a vacation starting tomorrow.

Posted by: Drie Jul 27 2005, 05:31 AM

Part II of my summer vacation. Yay!

The next person likes maps.

Posted by: Billywig2 Jul 27 2005, 08:59 PM

"Not I, said the dog"

The next person will shaer with us their favorite book as a child.

Posted by: nome Jul 30 2005, 08:03 AM

ummm... Ramona Quimby, Age 8. A year later, Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle's Magic. A year later, Lord of the Rings. A year later, Roots.

I admit to being strange. All of this was before I turned 12.

The next person hates surprises.

Posted by: QuickHare Jul 30 2005, 02:50 PM

I don't like too many surprises, but I do like some pleasant ones...

The next person loves giving gifts whatever the price tag.

Posted by: Jerry Jul 31 2005, 03:49 AM

I don't have too much money of my own, so when I give gifts I have to be careful I won't go bankrupt wink.gif

The next person has yet to read HBP

Posted by: hockeygod Jul 31 2005, 07:21 AM

No, I have.

The next person is not a little buzzed right now.

Posted by: Jerry Aug 1 2005, 02:20 AM

Not really.

The next person knows what his/her birthstone is

Posted by: hockeygod Aug 1 2005, 02:55 AM

Nope, not a clue.

The next person will please disregard my previous post in this thread.

Posted by: nome Aug 1 2005, 06:58 AM

Since I didn't understand it the first time around, sure. wink.gif

The next person adores getting letters from people.

Posted by: Billywig2 Aug 1 2005, 10:42 AM

Yep! And I love sending them too!

The next person has something else that they should be doing right now.

Posted by: Drie Aug 3 2005, 05:44 AM

Yes. Unpacking. Well, at least getting out the essentials for tomorrow. I don't wanna go to work tomorrow! mad.gif

The next person can't snap his or her fingers.

Posted by: Cristin Aug 3 2005, 07:33 PM

I can.

The next to respond has a fan on in his/her home.
