Where you heading to DL? And don't worry about me, I'll just keep ducking the objects sockless keeps throwing and by the time your back, I should be at around 340 pages on the master file.

I'm heading to Duke for a college program. I wanted to take a class on Harry Potter but aparently I'm too old. I'm not old enough to get on an airplane but I can't analyze Harry Potter with a group of people almost as insane as I am.

Don't worry Robert. You can borrow my "Random Flying Objects Sheild" It works most of the time!

Duke, huh? Well, just remember to stay away from East Carolina Univ. Delores Umbridge is currently hiding on campus in the guise of the school attorney Toi Carter!

So your too young for an HP class huh? Why not suggest tot eh English department that they consider a summer course on HP fanfict writing? Take along some stories to show them. Might be borth some brownie points.

Actually I'm too old for the Harry Potter class.

Umbridge...I could've sworn she was at my school pretending to teach English. Same method: reading without application.

I have exams and stuff to wory about, so I can only really pop in to see other people's replies.

Also, Yoda is away from Elenarda a fair bit, too. Exams and lack of internet. He'll pop in when he can.

Like Willow I was too preoccupied to put up an initial leave of absence post, but I'm back - finals all done and dusted. I've definitely passed them all and hopefully have passed well enough to end with a Desmond (that's a 2-2: 50-59% overall) although a Vordemann (3-1: 40-49%) would be welcome if I recieve it with honours (which as far as I know implies no retakes/failures in any module, which I am currently at).

So, I'm back while I'm here, will disappear around 24th-?th June for a vist home then back for the last few days of term. Then I'm off home for as long as they'll have me before I need to get a life of my own (AARRRGGGGHHH hassle) but my pc is being hooked up to the internet, hence hopeful intermittent contact - it's stupidly expensive from our village.

Yoda, thoroughly happy, thoroughly drunk and thoroughly at 'the end of all things' biggrin.gif

Well, I got my Desmond on 54.3% overall - with 57.65% for this year (last year's unfortunate 48% also contributed to the mark) and so now my degree is over and I should be finding gainful employment...although a couple of months on holiday sounds good too biggrin.gif

As I'm heading home I expect access to the internet to be restricted so I'll be out of contact - however, there is a rumour we will be getting broadband in our village soon (yay!). The other good news is that we're going to try to hook my pc up to the current internet we do have in our house (that's currently hooked up to a broken pc!) so maybe that will give me limited access for a while.

Anyways - t'is late and I must e-mail my address to more friends and also start packing for going home!

I wish you all a good summer, and if I'm back online tomorrow, ignore this post!

Yoda, going home

Take care Yoda, and may the force be with you! Or at least don't do any thing we wouldn't do!

I, after getting a Desmond all of my own, am still here (annoyingly to some). So, I will act as usual as conduit and proxy for Yoda.

Guess who's going away again!

If you guessed me then you're right. I'm going up to the northeast to visit family and whatnot and I'm leaving tomorrow morning and coming home on the 28th.

Talk to you when I get back!

Hello All,

I will for foreseeable future not be active here at Elenarda, don't worry about me I'm fine, but I have some family matters that I have to deal with. Imogen, Drie, and Robert know what these are and I have no problem you enquiring about my well-being with them, and I'm sure they won't mind you asking via PM's.

I will be about, and I will be back, just not very active at the moment.

Take Care,

Darren
