Many apologies for the ground shifting beneath your feet and forums appearing and disappearing where they weren't before.
~He Who Lives Dangerously~'s installed a new fiction archiving engine which makes uploads MUCH easier to do, and should mean you get chapters a bit more often because I'm not cursing html and php instead of writing! Because the new archiving software comes with it's own review system, we're transferring the reviews you've left in the past onto the new system and Disapparating the review forums into the ether.
Procrastination Central has over 13000 posts, and if that doesn't need it's own forum, I don't know what does! It's no longer a sub-forum but is on its own.
Finally, I'm thinking about opening a forum for fiction that can be read on the web - fanfic links or original fic, or whatever. Would people like that? Or would we be better off having an exclusively HP forum? I'm open to suggestions.
Expect an update to 'Nil' At some point this week (but not Wednesday!)
to you all

Although it receives a fair few replies, I personally see it as a great idea as a sub-forum as then I can go into General Discussion, look at replies, then move on to Procrastination Central within a matter of clicks. The move means I have to back-track to the main page (Make Yourself At Home) and then into Pro Central. This is, of course, my own opinion, and others may prefer the move. |
We'll try it like this for a few weeks and if Procrastination Central works better for people as a sub forum, then I'll happily shift it back. No problems about doing that - just let me know

Does this mean the site would be for fanfics of any type, and not just HP fanfics (ie Can people write about Final Fantasy or Star Wars, for example)? Is that the proposition? |
You could have some kind of forum where we're all limited to one post of our favourites, or something like that. No more ideas forthcoming. Very tired. Must eat & do work & show film & do more work & maybe sleep.
Yoda, and tomorrow is a 9am start because of one complaining person who happens to live in my house so I won't shout loudly...
Personally, I think the site is awesome the way it is. I know people will clamor for my resignation as top poster for saying this, but why fix something if it isn't broken?
