I'm torn. I've got a great little plot for a Young Adult novel and have been sitting on it, expecting to do it in November.

BUT, I've just restarted all this fanfic, so I kind of feel that I should try my hand at 50,000 words of that instead.

I'm not sure, and I've only got until tomorrow to make my mind up! If it's fanfic, I'll post it here; if it's an original, I'm not sure it will get posted - but I might set up a Yahoo Group of something for a pre-beta reaction.

What are you all doing, and can you post links to where you're doing your NaNo as well?

Here's a quick update - I'm into Chapter 7 (but I don't think they're all up on fp.net yet) at 1481 words, putting me (in total) 6729 words behind for today, but I'm hoping to knock that down tonight as, at long last, a prolonged action sequence is just around the corner.

I'm quite certain that anyone reading is in a state of shock from the fact that my book seems to be mostly non-action at the minute - I am too.
