As far as laundry goes, I will keep that in mind. There is absolutely no chance of going home to do laundry as I will be 550 miles from home. So no home cooked meal either. I will miss my mom and grandma's cooking.
As far as fire alarms go, that will really bite, because in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, a warm day is in the mid 40's (at least during the school year) so in the middle of the night, it will be COLD!!!
And I plan on keeping my door wide open when my roomate or I am around. That way people come to your room and you can go to theirs. I like the onion analogy.
