<B>Coraline</B> was an excellent read. Neil has written a children's book that's deliciously creepy and terrifying. The writing style is simple (for children) but at turns brilliant in its simplicity. Coraline is an excellent heroine. You'll tear through this, and then turn on all the lights in your home.

his other novels stardust and neverwhere [far better than the tv series if you remember it] are both good reads too
