See how well you do....

Any Brits' having ago, bear in mind US spellings/rules...

You are a MASTER of the English language!
While your English is not exactly perfect,
you are still more grammatically correct than
just about every American. Still, there is
always room for improvement...

Thanks for the tip about it being American! I scraped a:
You are a GRAMMAR GOD!
If your mission in life is not already to
preserve the English tongue, it should be.
Congratulations and thank you!

Well, I'm a Grammer God! Just out of curiosity, am i the only one who caught the typos inthis guy's quiz?
Robert
I also got "You are a GRAMMAR GOD". Not bad for someone whose native language is not English.
And yes, I caught a spelling mistake: ___ faced turned a bright shade of red. (I assume it meant "face" instead of "faced").
May I just say, I am british, where English originated:

You are a STUDENT of the English language! You are on your way to becoming gramatically sound; however, you must keep studying if you ever want to be a master. You do manage to speak better than most Americans, but then again, that's not really saying too much... http://quizilla.com/users/BaalObsidian/quizzes/How%20grammatically%20sound%20are%20you%3F/ brought to you by Quizilla |
QuickHare - what did you do to get the pic appearing in your post? The html was driving me mad when I tried to get it to work.
Imogen
1. In the HTML, you'll find the bit (near thes start) saying < img src="http://...." .
2. Take the bit in the speech marks and copy it.
3. Delete the entire < img bit to the > and place the cursor at the start of the post.
4. In the reply/post page, click the IMG button and paste the URL into the dialog.
5. Click OK, and there it is!

I got Master.
Aww, I'm a Grammar God! I feel so proud. Considering I was cringing terribly over the hanging preposition in that quiz, I think this is a good thing.
Go New Zealand English!! It's not as bad as they think!

I stumbled upon this and having not previously taken the test, I gave it a go. As for my result, all I can say is, "Ditto."
Just thought I'd be annoying and correct your grammar on that last post...
I've found the link no longer works. Is there an alternate way to access the quiz?

Wait-the link dosn't work? I thought it had something to do with my addware/spyware virus.
Anti-adware/spyware programs don't tend to cause trouble as such. These are for the adverts and spying programs. the main reason why some sites no longer work is because your hosts file is filled with local IP addresses for remote server domains. In order to list every site and block all websites, the 'virus' needs to add every possible URL into the hosts file and point it towards 127.0.0.1 to block it out. No virus, spyware or human can fill this file with every combination of letters and numbers, even for those popular sites.
If this has gone over your head, simply remember to get hold of http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/ or http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ to search for and remove most spyware. That way, little to no spyware will survive for long. Try to use both for ease of mind.
